Ujjayi, also known as the ocean breath or victorious breath is practised here in with a step-by-step approach to nourish mind and body. Effectively tapping into the parasympathetic nervous system, helps calm the mind, slowing the breath down, thus helping slow the heart rate and blood pressure. Not advised to practise if you have unregulated blood pressure of are pregnant and new to this way of breathing.
